A Redwood City family called planet orange because they’d recently moved to a new home and had a very serious energy issue to solve. It turned out that the second floor of their home was always too warm while the first floor was too cold. This was especially troublesome in the morning when their 18 month-old boy came downstairs for breakfast and the floor was freezing. He hated it! planet orange came in and, after a complete Home Energy Assessment, discovered a number of problems that were causing the dramatic heat inequity. We fixed them all and, to quote the homeowner, “Wow, the difference is unbelievable!” Not to mention that their monthly utility bills went down too!
